How to set up an email account in Mail App for iOS

You can use the Mail app on your iPhone or iPad to send, receive, and manage email for your email account..

  1. Go to Settings > Apps, then tap Mail Accounts.
  2. Tap Add Account.
  3. Tap Other.
  4. Tap Add Mail Account.
  5. Fill out the following information, then tap Next:
NameEnter the name you want to others to see when you send emails.
EmailEnter your full email address (email@yourdomain.com)
PasswordEnter the password for your email
DescriptionA reminder of which email account this is. Only you see this.

  1. Make sure the IMAP tab is selected. Now fill out the following information, then click Next:

  1. Select Mail, then tap Save.
